Tom’s Ultra-Everything Titanium Gravel Bike

The cleanest this bike will ever be…

Tom’s second Liminal titanium frame is a replacement for a thrice-worn-through carbon frame. Tom races ultras, think hundreds to thousands of miles at a time in the worst conditions imaginable. I was honored to get a build a bike to stand up to all of that and the daily grind.

The frame has all the usual trappings of a modern gravel bike, clearance for 29 x 2.1” tires (or 50mm tires with full fenders), flat mount disc brakes, and my modular UDH/T-Type dropouts. While most cables run fully internal via the Enve In-Route system, there is a semi-internal path for a cable-actuated rear derailleur for the ultimate reliability in the field.

The frame was custom anodized by Agave Finishworks for a truly ultra finish, with a painted-to-match Lauf suspension fork courtesy of Colorworks Palette.
