Love modern T47 frames and somewhat anachronistic cranks? This bottom bracket allows you to run a JIS square taper crank on a T47 frame. The 6061 aluminum cups take full advantage of the extra real estate afforded by the larger BB shell and use massive 6203 bearings for buttery smooth spinning and extra durability. These bearings also sit further apart than standard BSA square taper BBs for better support of the spindle. The spindle itself is machined from a solid bar of 17-4 stainless steel for high strength and stiffness.
Guaranteed to work with Paul Component’s 100% Pure Cranks. Other cranks are being tested but most non-triple cranks fit as the bearing bore is larger than a BSA bottom bracket shell (!).
